Worship Together

We see the gathering of the people of God, the preaching of the Bible, and the sacrament of communion as essential practices and means of grace in the life of a believer (Hebrews 10:25, 1 Corinthians 1:23, 11:26). This is why we gather every week.

In Midtown, we gather for worship on Sundays at 9 am, 11 am, 5 pm, and 7 pm at 3921 Baltimore Avenue in Kansas City, MO.

In Johnson County, we gather on Sundays at 9 and 11 am (starting 9/25) at 8714 Antioch Road in Overland Park, KS.

All our services are the same, and we follow a basic pattern of meeting together that is traced back to the early church. We sing, we pray, we teach from the Bible, and we respond by taking communion together. Our goal is not to manufacture a particular feeling or experience, but we pray that as we come face to face with the truth of who Jesus is and what he has done, we will be deeply affected and our lives will be transformed for his glory and the good of our city.

Joining us for worship on Sunday is a natural first step for getting involved at our church. Once you’re ready to go deeper, we’d encourage you to Join a Group.

If you’re new to Christianity or the church and are would like to learn what we mean when we talk about God, Jesus, and the gospel, we would encourage you to read Tim Keller’s article, How Can I Know God? If you would like to talk to someone about what it means to become a Christian, email [email protected] or talk with a service host after one of our gatherings on Sunday.
