Interns

General Information
At Redeemer Fellowship we are passionate about developing and reproducing leaders. One of the ways we do this in the day to day life of our church is through internships. Internships at Redeemer aren’t simply about fetching coffee or making copies: we rely on our interns to carry a great deal of the load of church operations, developing other leaders, writing Gospel Community curriculum, and creating sustainable teams and structures to support the ministry of our church.

What are internships at Redeemer like?
Internships typically last a year and generally begin in August or January. There’s a 60-day testing period, after which an intern will be evaluated before officially beginning.

While every internship will look different, interns will perform important and meaningful work, participate in Redeemer staff development, and will be mentored by pastors and staff who will challenge their convictions, their character, and their competency. While time requirements for each internship may vary, internships generally require 15-20 hours per week.

Internships at Redeemer are generally not paid, however a stipend may be granted to an intern who has been given more responsibility. A stipend is not guaranteed.

Upcoming Dates (subject to change):

How do I Apply?
If you are interested in interning at Redeemer, here is how the process will work.

1) Take a personality profile test widely used throughout both the corporate and non-profit world as well as to complete our in-house “Self Awareness Inventory”. The information from these resources is extremely valuable for us to get to know you and think through what type of internship might be a good fit.

2) Your next step is to complete an online application, where you will upload a resume, the results from your personality test and your Self Awareness Inventory.

There is no application fee, but you will need to pay for the personality test – $35.

Ready to Get Started?
1) Download and complete the Self Awareness Inventory.

2) Go to http://youruniquedesign.com/ and register to complete the “Servants By Design Inventory”. You will first create an account, and then purchase the inventory from their store ($35). Your results will be delivered via email.
