REDEEMER MEN
At Redeemer Fellowship we’re committed to developing and growing men. We believe that one of the most important ways we can love and serve our city is to be a place where God is developing men who love and serve their wives, their families and their communities. Last Fall and last Spring marked the beginning of our first two “Men’s Leadership Labs.” These times of theological reflection, community building, and leadership development were built on our passion to see the men in our church and in our city understand masculinity and leadership according to the Bible. We believe that the best way to see men lead as humble servants is to train them to evaluate their lives and the lives of those around them in terms of the person of God and his purposes in the world.
For those that participated, our first labs proved to be a tremendous success. The hundred or so men that were involved gained insights into the nature and character of God and great insights into their own nature and character as well. We built friendships, found accountability, and gained new ground understanding leadership as “taking initiative for the benefit of others.”
Our next Men’s Leadership Lab will begin in the Fall. There are only a few requirements:
- You must be a male.
- You must purchase and read the book.
- You must commit to being present for each of the six sessions of the lab.
